Should I be concerned?

It got damaged somehow. I was jumping (±10') on a dirt BMX track.

Could I just tape over the wires to avoid shorting, should I ask my LHS to solder new ones on, or should I do nothing?
Can't warranty it, because I bought it off of a forum member and don't have the receipt

Looks like it flopped down into the spur for a time. I’d just use some electrical tape and run the loop thru the post your roll hoop sets on. If you are not going to use two batteries you can just remove that whole connection and solder the wire right to the connection but it will void the warranty.

Yeah I would just use some tape or large heat shrink on it. Make sure you strap that sucker down next run.
