It's ready to run, if you have any experience with large scale RCs you'll know if something is wrong out of the box. Having alloy bulkheads, I personally wouldn't touch them until 20 pack PMs unless you audibly get feedback prior or you want to change fluid weights.

The Center diff, IMO would swap to alloy cup immediately and fluid weight of choice depending on driving tendencies.

Saying that it's ready to run then saying that if you have any experience with large scale rc's you will know if something is wrong is a bit ironic. If you have any experience in rc what so ever then you will know that rtr does not mean ready to run especially when it comes to Arrma and the 6s line. Arrma has the worst QC in the industry.

Worst quality really? Now I'm not sure that I bought the right car 😕. I have a bit experience and I'm Car Mechanic to. But new to RC Bashers at 1:8 scale. I know that's a arrma forum but are traxxas models better out of the box?

I would check for shimming at the very least before the first run. if it was me with the new EXB I would strip the diffs and put my weight oil in them then I would be checking all metal to metal screws and the one's that go into plastic I would be checking the wheel hubs for shims then I would unscrew the esc put a bit of shoegoo under the esc then screw it back down have snapped a few ears of the esc casings in the past. but that's just me you don't have to do anything if you don't want :)

Yes, but don’t worry you’ll break enough stuff, that car won’t be arrma much longer. It will be all aftermarket.

The best RC in the world is a brand new kit that you put together and build yourself.

When was the last time you bought a Kraton v2 6s EXB though, oh yeah you don’t even own one 🤔

Not good to hear that arrma are no good quality. I think I would sell it. I tought it was a premium brand to.

It is a premium basher; he just had a bad experience years ago and nitpicking at assembly. Look at all of the unboxing videos on youtube from people with less than 20k subscribers not given a handout to promote, if they're having first run problems they'll be honest about it.

Arrma's 2-year warranty is best in the business...

The person that built your truck has a quota to make. You should consider your truck assembled but not built. If the gear mesh is good I would go with it. I would recommend going through your truck with a driver and making sure everything is tight before you take it out.

Quality control. They are generally solid designs but build quality isn't necessarily consistent. Not uncommon across the industry as a whole. "RTR" should be considered a loose term.

That being said, I've not personally had any real problems out of the box with Arrma, but I have with Losi. It's just part of the hobby ... you can easily spend more time wrenching than running no matter what you buy.

In short, YMMV with this stuff.

So far i have had better luck with my kraton v5 than my v1 e-revo. That truck spent more time apart or broken than it has running. So much so that even now trying to fix everything that i did to cobble it together to just go out for a single pack run turned out cheaper to buy a new kraton. Glad i got out of the traxxas ecosystem and onto something more generic if that makes sense.
