Typhon Show me your body colors!

New clear body just came in, picking it up on the way home from work. Need paint ideas! I'm thinking white, mostly coz I don't wanna go black and not much else matches the red shocks etc. Green and Red looks like Christmas, blue and red looks like superman who's now gay , yellow and red looks like MacDonalds. Orange and red probably just looks funny..

Help me out guys!

As far as paint goes I decided to give Purple a shot. Came out nice other than my screw ups

Color is extremely about personal preference and how it is layed out and portrayed. I agree you think of Christmas with reds and greens etc but also depending how it's layed out can make the world of difference. Color theory is actually very interesting and a lot more in depth than most realize. Just an example purple is the most attractive color to younger children of both sexes, also a room painted red gives the feeling of being warmer than a blue room that seems cooler even set at the exact same temperature. We don't realize it but it's just how our minds are programmed. Same with food for example restaurants will use reds and yellows like McDonald's as you mentioned as red is a warm color and makes you feel comfortable and a lot of foods are yellow hues. As I said Color theory is very deep and based on how we perceive things. Any ways here is a couple of my custom body's I did, GT body for my Typhon that's orange fading into a gold to red color changing paint with orange highlights. And then my custom build 6s SWB short course rig that's orange in front fading to white with black designs for contrast. They are a bit dusty but you can get the idea and how they look

I wasn't expecting an answer that in-depth! Problem is, I don't know what I like! Have a better idea of what I don't like to be honest..

Not much of an artist so looking for 1 or 2 color designs at most. Ona Typhon the shocks are visible with the body on so it makes a difference.

sorry I'm an artist lol so I know how much importance color has on our perception and wanted to throw it out there to try and help. Well that's actually a good start as you can notch those colors off your list. Not sure if you have access to a program such as photoshop as I'd suggest playing with it and coloring a body on the program to see what stands out. Also hopefully you'll get some more visual ideas here with others body's and find something that jumps out you like that you can work off of. Also you can search Google for RC bodies to see if there's anything you like and again work from that.

You never liked Jimmy Olsen??? WTF?

Kidding aside, sometimes multi colors can work if the graphics are laid out to your liking. I always like at least 3 colors. Sometimes White or silver is always in the mix for me. And I choose 2 more colors and a graphic /stripe theme. I like my body colors to pop. Just for visibility.
