New guy here started the hobby two months ago. This was a Granite BLX I changed into a Senton ( GRANTON!) and now getting a facelift with a Silverado shell.

Anyone got tips on the bumpers? I need to trim but am hesitant, the front bumper is just behind the shell in the lip of the molds bumper kinda snug. I expect the hang over will fold under though. I couldn't find a replacement bumper that stuck out further. The main goal was to align the tires in there wells which did come out great. Just need to trim up a bit and paint, any tips appreciated all ears.

Going to be Red by Sunday ;)

Alright its unanimous, I need to cut the front end up a good amount. Side by side with an OEM senton shell, I can see where I would need to cut. It wont really take away toooooo much from the Silverardo look, and I think it might actually give it more of the short course look, now is almost a touring looking setup.

Wish me luck Ill be cutting into the front bumper of the shell

I made a thread to highlight this, but here are the pictures here as well!

Looks good, if i may make a suggestion, i would run a strip of duct tape on the inside of the body where the front bumper meets the body to keep it from rubbing the paint off. Great job

Yeah I'm gonna run some electrical tape on a few spots for back up, just going to let the paint "super cure" all night before going out tomorrow.
