Im looking at a kraton V2 soon and wondering if my heli lipos will be suitable. They will just about fit in the battery tray. I see this truck comes with a 150 esc?. Id be using a single 6s 5000 45-90c gensacearespammers pack so effectively able to supply 225A continuous. The last thing i want to do is puff my packs, but i certainly wouldnt be running full throttle other than the odd blip.

Also is this truck reliable on 6s for light bashing, small jumps maybe?

thanks guys!

I am no battery expert, so I can't speak to that. However, the truck is very reliable, but like all RC's and especially once we start using 6S power, things will break. There are several recommended modifications or upgrades to be done.

1. Replace stock Servo mount with an Aluminum version. the stock mount flexes badly - 2 vendors here sell them, and there is a DIY version as well.

2. Shim the differentials - - Lots of info here on where to find the right video and the right shims.

Yes, should be fine.

It is of concern when using two 3S and have low C rating.

Give it a test doing a few WOT passes and touch the connectors after it, and the same for the motor. A little warm, but nothing that it is roasting the wires and plugs.

Reliable? its a monster on 6S!

I use 4 and 6s... 20ft high jumps and double back flips. A few things have bent and broke but its one of the strongest cars ive had... Light bashing and small jumps will not be a problem ;-)

Is your battery hard or soft pack ?? Personally i wont run soft packs as the batteries sit pretty close to the spur gear... puff a soft pack or knock it out of the try and well.........

Thanks for the info guys. They are soft packs im using but as with my helis ill be engineering some protection for them within the truck :)
