Skyrc gnss having problems, new app?

Was out for speedrun today, having gps trouble,

But it's starting with the skyrc app not working.
Then i go on Google to find out there is a new app for Android. Downloaded it and it's freezing when i go for a run. Then i took home and then it's started working again. Did 230kph that's also a new PB for me
I can't close the app, it's staying in the freez

There actually is a "wrong" app. I learned the hard way.
But if you had the wrong app it wouldn't work at all as far as I know.

Try downloading the Powerhobby GNSS app and see if it works better.

Sorry for the life of me I cant test it right now as it needs charging.
You could try to clear your cache and test it again. That has helped the app to make it run smoother.
Or though a hassle you could uninstall the app and reinstall.

For me when I was using the wrong one (which is the one that does not work well with your GNSS device)
It was reading 320 mph when I would move the car 2 mph.

Deleted the "wrong app" and installed the other and that resolved it.

There is the SKYRC GNSS app and the power hobby GNSS app.

Today when is prepping for a run, my skyrc app was gone. Checked the android playstore and there is a new skyrc for it called RCGears. The new app can connect to 3 additional devices along with the gnss. The new app also works via BT with their corner weight system, CG & Angle Meter and lastly, it works with their Camber Gauge

Right...they say to use only their app but then I find multiple apps that say skyrc. wtf?
The rc gears one is what ultimately worked for me but initially gave me trouble.
Thank goodness I don't speed run or I would have punted that thing through the goal post! haha
