Slt3 third channel programming

Hi all, new member here. It’s great to see all of this backup support. I have tried searching but haven’t seen anything really about it. Is it possible to utilize the third channel on the newer Spektrum 3 channel receivers to and transmitter? Would I need to add in an extra controller module for say lights?

Yes, you need a controller for lighting. Apex makes them. There are other brands as well. By default the 3rd channel is active already, if I am correct.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t even think to look up just the Rc/ Tx online. I only looked into the Arrma manual.

What about using aux1 for a winch on a crawler??

I'm using an RCAWD Warn scaler winch on my crawler. It comes its own controller. Powered by the 2 or 3s mains lipo.

How can you turn off the 3rd channel?

The A-B button is your 3rd channel control, if that was was your question. It's technically a 3 position toggle switch. 3rd Channel is already enabled by default out the box.

Yes, But While I was using mine, The controller switched throttle from the trigger to the a-b Buttons
