Hello,
Does anyone know any on-road hobby grade rc cars that are smaller than 1/16 scale. Mainly for small circuit races.
Cheers

That's off road.

Check out Maverick ion lineup : https://rchobbyexplosion.com/maverick-ion-rx-1-18-electric-rally-car-rtr-12805/

Pretty nice and mine does 39mph with Hobbywing 18a esc and 7600kv motor on 2s.

You could use a rally car on road with a tire change.

The problem you run into when going smaller than 1/16 scale is that the cars while still being hobby grade are made from a lot of tiny cheap parts with very little if any aftermarket support. Some of the Chinese cars do have their own aluminum parts that they make, but they are Chinese made aluminum parts so they can be rather hit or miss on quality and proper fitment.

The afore mentioned Kyosho Mini Z is very popular.
These cars are also all hobby grade. Do note that these are just links to the models themselves not necessarily the best price.

Yup, they make aluminum upgrades too.

( Maverick is owned by HPI if you don't know )
I had no clue. I’ve looked at HPI a time or two but know very little about them.

Got my Maverick up to 53mph now with foam tires.
Might be a bit late, but Carisma has a great 1/24 lineup, brushless and 2s lipo compatible out of the box
Do have a Carisma 1/24th?

Always looked appealing to me but not sure about parts availability.

Sorry for the late answer. I was about to copy/paste my "review" from RCTalks then I raw you liked it on RCTalks haha.
Here's the link anyway : https://www.rctalk.com/forum/thread...a-race-buggies-rally-car.135229/#post-1342954
Regarding the parts availability, I found what I needed via my country's main dealership here in France (rcteam.fr) but I reckon it could be an issue depending where you live. I tried to order spare parts directly from the official carisma shop, but the estimated shipping costs were crazy, even for the tiniest order (36€ minimum iirc). Maybe they can fix that if you contact them idk? Can't be bothered at the moment but I might try later.
