Kraton Snow build up

When I ripen my keratin in the snow I get buildup. It builds up on the rear of the chassis and sticks the before I know I have 2 pounds of snow to drag around. What are some ways you guys have fixed this issue.

Mainly just giving it a good blast of a water repellent spray, example like WD40. Giving a spray down right before you take it out may help with less snow sticking and building up.

Are they a big problem in the winter time too? I know the summer a lot of people recommend not running them.

Yes I get hot in the winter as well. To the point almost everything under the body is melted as far as snow goes.
