Snow tires… paddles or smoothies on front?

Running a 8S Kraton and trying to figure out of paddles on all four corners are preferred or smooth tires with a vertical ridge as shown in the combo below are preferred based on your experience guys?

I just used paddle tires for the first time in snow recently. We originally tried paddles only on the rear and it wasn't much fun. All 4 corners was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better, no comparison. It went from not fun to fun, real fast. Maybe it's not as important if your snow isn't deep but without 4 paddles we weren't going anywhere.

I like paddles on all four but i do want some ribbed tires for a certain build. Does anyone know where i could get some 17mm ones?
