So looking for some tips on speed running a limitless

So looking for some tips on speed running a limitless i just got. Little run down on what i got: Max6, stock gears, older poseidon 8s motor, unsure of kv but possibly 1750 or near it( got it for close friend that git out of the hobby). Made a couple passes, and it was flying. 4th pass the esc cut out and reset once it got stopped. Made another pass, and it cut out again. Using 9000ma 100c batts on 8s. I will say we did them kinda back to back, but temps were both 165f. I kniw we probably should have rested it between runs, but we were excited. Just curious on thoughts.....

Best bet. Ditch the Max 6. Move to castle mmx8s or xlx2.
Hobbywing has limits. Just like spektrum..

Yea if you're geared to tall with the max 6 it will cut out when you get on the throttle hard. ESC also get hot quick imo. You definitely want an mmx8s at the least.

Is the mmx8s a drop in fit, or is there mods to be done like the xlx2. Not very versed with castle fitment, I use HW in my bashers.

The MMX8S fits in the ESC mount without modification.

Mmx8s fits perfectly. Xlx2 you will need to lose a battery tray or use a xlx2 brace/mount.

But will the brace mount work with the limitless body? I've seen them on the infraction.

Sfr brace had no problems. You have to mount it close to the center. I did it for fitment. Before taking the limitless body off.
