Am I OK to cut and solder these wires together so I only have one going to the reciever?

Can’t tell from the pic, what voltage are you running it (7.4V?), what current does the fan run at (0.18A?), and what size wire is that (12AWG?)? In general you will want to make sure to use a larger wire when combining loads. E.g. two 12 AWG —> single 8 AWG. Make sure the switches and connectors can take the doubled load too.

That said I've used Y splitters on my fans that have the same size (20 AWG!) wire and they seem to work just fine. See switch option B:

No idea what you are saying 😂 I can solder but garbage at wires and electrics. Going to use some speaker cable, so that's bigger then original and only thing I have in.

Seen the Y splitter but trying to do it with what I have already so have see how it goes

Be quick with the soldering, the sheath on that is likely pvc or similar - it melts. But in reality, twist them together and as long as there's a small amount of wicked solder on the connection for security, its fine. Doesn't need to be fully saturated in this case, but enough to keep them together.

I always save wire and connectors from bad servos and fans for just that purpose. To make extensions for fans, and change connectors on fans. I buy the cheapest ball bearing fans of the appropriate size and voltage I can from Amazon. Then put whatever wire/connector I need on by soldering. 5 fans for $15-20, yeha!!

That's a good application for solder seal heat shrink connectors. I double heat shrink them in high vibration/impact applications with good zip/tie downs.
