I don't know how to solder and an esc that I want to buy doesn't come with a connector does anyone have any ideas on what to do

Hobby shops will usually solder connectors on for a fee, or you could just teach yourself. ?

+2 This ☝️ Fast easy way to get up and running!

Buy a kit and practice, that's what I did. Buy extra solder and wire.

This is what I use

Cheap capable iron w/variable temp:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B010823P38/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_BVmaFb0M3MZ0D

Decent solder (DON'T GET LEAD-FREE SH*T):
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282082290763

Multi tool for holding connectors (I tape mine down to the workbench):
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283712303623

And as you're learning I would recommend ordering extra connectors, some extra solder sponges and a soldering jig/helping hand. Watch a lot of YT guides too. Better to learn now than never ?

Thanks everyone

University of YouTube and practice, don’t do anything valuable until you’re comfortable with it.

Just went to a hobby shop that I haven't been to before and they had a sign that said $2 per solder joint. Might find something similar where you are but learning how is good. You'll probably solder often in this hobby.
