Arrma RC's
  1. Senton 6s
  2. Typhon 6s
Typhon running on 4S what do I need to do to help him out? I do have a set of tires on the way for better traction. Also have the punch set to 9

I'm told there's 500k in it now. Bigger like taller or wider or both.
Try thicker center diff fluid, something like 500k. Bigger tires will also help.

And the most obvious, run 6s.
I don't have the batteries for 6s

How many runs on that 500k?.. because it degrades rather quickly.. well used 500k will feel like 300k after a little while...

Truggify it and toss on some mojave tires and a wheelie bar. (y)
OK I've got to do some more research on this... this may be what I need. Bigger tires so I'll probably have to do some drive train work

That typhon tlr is what I like to call the super truggified typhon but you can do a simpler version. You need kraton hubs/hex/axle for front and rear and wheelie bar from outcast/notorious. You can probably get away with using normal typhon diffs if you stick to tires around mojave tire size.

My typhon in the video also has mojave arms to get a bit more width. You could even truggifiy with the kraton parts and add something like +13mm hub extensions as well for even more width. The wider you make it the closer it gets to being a notorious/outcast which is the stunt truck.

What did you have to do to mount the mojave arms to the chassis

I'm actually using the typhon tlr shocks though they are a little short for the job. They're the plushiest arrma shocks though so I really wanted to make them work. I changed the springs to iirc talion in the front and I think kraton front springs in the rear. I could be wrong on the rear springs but for sure I have talion springs in the front.

Other than that it's just the kraton parts I listed before, mojave arms and mojave front and rear driveshafts. oh and the 3drc high profile wing mount. Typhon stock mount is low profile and I thought the high profile would help with the wheelies. I also tried kraton shocks at one point.

Thats with kraton shocks.

Has anyone put bigger taller and wider tires on their typhon running 4s that could help us try to figure out what size tires to put on the stock setup?

Proline mx28 and you will need these PRO633600 to go with them. I think your best bet is either those or the mojave tires.

Is the 2.8 referring to the width? And what is the height on them I'm not seeing it listed anywhere.
Oh I found it 5.05 height 2.7 wide
