Mojave Speed Mojave guys (or anyone else), is this considered a Mojave?

I think it's the Mojave body that qualifies it. The compatibility of Arrma models and parts actually makes it possible to construct something out of leftover parts. That's where the fun is.
How I feel too, it follows the shell wherever it goes no matter what.... :) For the last several days, each time I check the forum and I see this thread in bold, I immediately want to check the new posts. Something hard to explain about seeing these modded Mojaves.

Tried gpm, scorched ,an m2c.tore them all up.the longer the shaft ,the more likely to break.bending a shaft well above 100mph an that shaft Flys around in chassis destroying everything it touchs...
I’m having the same problem with gpm so I’m going to make carbon fiber shaft have tested in my typhon up to 99 with no problems just in stalled one in the Mojave .the two are for my stock typhon

Just wondering about carbon driveshafts. How do you connect the steel to the carbon. Just glue? Cut the driveshaft and then use a carbon rod to connect?

Imo the xlwb chassis needs either 3 equal length shafts..front,rear,an custom spool shaft same as other 2,pinnicio style for high-speed....although it can be done.... @jondilly1974 ran over 130mph with Mojave last year...maybe he will share his secrets 😆😅🤣😂
I didn't know he did 130! Damn!! Now I have goals but that's a big number....
hahaha get it on there and go baby!

Those are sweet, I too am curious how you are making them and getting them straight and what not? Awesome though no doubt

I have way too much fun with this hobby! :ROFLMAO: There is just so much to do. This thing is my love though. Lots of work to make it the way I wanted it.

Oh yeah you have a sweet mojave yourself! Weren't you building it into a wagon? and of course I know @jondilly1974 has a mean one too. Do we have a Mojave speed chart anywhere on the forum?
If it's still a truck body wi covered wheels that's enough for me!
Ye could insist on the wee driver guys bein in but where d'ye draw the line! 😉

Mines a work in progress, body'll get done proper over the winter, meantime, the running gear from it is becoming a thing!

I haven’t found a good bonding material yet myself. If you figure it out, let me know.

I did 131mph on stock shafts. I am making a Pinocchio spool so I can run shorter shafts

That's awesome man, are you making a standard pinnochio that goes out one end or you doing both sides? Good to hear you did 131 on stock shafts though. I just got 100 with it because I found an awesome road today with my friend so I'm pumped. But I was excited and did 1 too many passes and motor said adios....so now atleast I can further mess with it lol

oooo yeah thats right I remeber mr @K-BASH was doing it as well. He has since moved on to his little nut case mini typhon :ROFLMAO:
Wait what!?!? I guess y’all forgot who was the FIRST true Mojave6s at and over 100!!

I have a small hobby lathe I turn groves in the steel shaft . Then with knurling tool for a press fit for Epoxy 3M EC2216 you have to (clean the inside of the carbon fiber tube

Just finish a new shock set up on my Mojave.

That does look good. I think a rough file would do a better job at opposite 45 degree angles in order to better handle the torsion. The main force the glue has to take is torsion.

Also wondering what is the max speed the Talion EXB Katars can take. Or the MX28 hp belted.

Have no idea what the max speed is for Talion EXB katars or the mx28hp belted .

Agreed. There's photos floating around when I used to bend stock rear shafts.
