Wasn't the best of days but got a good baseline for the first runs on the WLtoys 144001 brushless conversion. Didn't get to do a 3s pass as we had a crash at lower speed and lost a hinge pin sleeve. But not too shabby first runs on the setup came in at 47.7 on 2s so figuring we will pass 60 on 3s, have to see next time...

I did another quick pass in an adjacent parking lot and it hit a small bump and launched at 91mph. Down force is a must at these speeds so keep that in mind. Good luck?
 
Ok got some footage from our maiden runs on the brushless conversion, again huge thank you to @Notorious J for the brushless setup for my son's build!!! Only got two of the 4 runs on video but here it is not too shabby 47.7 on 2s first time out?

Should light up quite a bit on 3s. Looking forward to seeing just how fast it can go??
 
Alright got a 3s pass in today with the WLtoys 144001 with 4000kv brushless conversion. Pulled 59.9mph on 3s but she still had more.... Post video later after I get it all edited up. Need a new GPS also, wheelied on way back and killed the screen?

Alright here's the passes we got in today. Went to visit my mom so Xavier brought the 144001 as my mom lives on main street so we had a good longer shot of road to make some passes.

60 mph with that little tiny motor! Well done my friend, well done.
 
Not too shabby if I say so myself, seemed like she had more in her too need to reset my throttle end point I think and give it some more room and get a new GPS ? thanks again @Notorious J for the motor and ESC!!!
 
Well think I found a new motor to slap in the 144001. What do you guys think I'll gain speed wise with another 1900kv? Hitting 60mph on the 4000kv in it now.

If it has enough torque to max out the added RPMs, then yes. You need to make sure your ESC can deliver the extra watts needed to get all the RPMs out.
 
New pb even if it was only 1 mph. Crappy conditions and a crash that only broke the front bumper (later pass) I call it a great day
