I'm new to all this and I'm not quite sure about what speed runs are, I am interested in possibly upgrading my motor and ESC on Typhon 6s v5 but don't know where to begine as far as what I would need, also how do you guys track speeds, any info would helpp

Look up Raz Shifrin on youtube, he has a videos series about getting into speed running and all the info you could need to get you going

• SkyRC GNSS module connects to your phone via blue tooth to track speeds.
• GRP XM3 tires
• Get a 1/8 tire balancer tool
• Consider getting the Limitless V1 spool setup or an aftermarket solution to replace the center diff
• Consider swapping over to the Limitless towers and shocks all around.
• After 80mph you will likely need a long-range radio. Best bang for the buck = Radio link RC6gs v2
• don't over gear your car. Take baby steps and learn as you go.
• If upgrading the ESC only go with the MMX8s or XLX2. Otherwise stay with the stock one. Stock ESC can take you into the 94-98 mph range.

Agreed, if you do not have the most amazing smooth road with no traffic then don't get too invested in this....
