Spektrum Antenna wire replacement?

My cable broke today. The spectrum uses 2.4ghz, can i use a wifi antenna cable from a old broken laptop? Wifi is 2.4ghz as wel.
I mean the wifi antena inside the laptop. It has even the same connector.
