even after turning off the auto storage discharge there is no storage charge option under select task
That model charger doesn't even have a discharge option.....and since storage mode technically discharges to get it to a certain level, ill assume all the smart technology involved here is taking over to do it all for you...thus no storage mode is needed.

As ive said, im no expert on any of the spektrum smart stuff. It all just seems too easy to go south when you have no options to work with. Id rather just charge batteries my own way the way i want. Charge when i want, discharge when i want, balance when i want, store them when i want.

If the car runs for an acceptable amount of time...ya know, 15 or 20 minutes....then i see no issue here. I have no idea what the blinking light is. I just hope that when youre charging that battery...that you have it in a fireproof charging bag in a place that wont burn any much needed structures down. Blinking lights on batteries are a red flag to me....unless intended to do so.....id be looking into better batteries and a charger.

Thats just me being overly cautious again. :)

Is the battery really warm after you use it? I mean like....REALLY warm? It will be a little warm from use but not way overly warm. Is the battery swollen?
If its hot to the touch or looking a little bloated...get rid of that battery.
Also, how long does it take to charge when you plug it up. 10 minutes? 30 minutes? An hour or more? Again, how does the battery feel after its fully charged.
Is the charger really warm? Same goes for the battery questions above. If its hot to the touch....get rid of that charger.
Are you getting a normal run time from the battery? How long can you get out of it if you pour the onions to the car.

I think youll know if something isnt jiving. Use good judgement and monitor the battery cycle.....from pulling it from the charger, running the car and putting it back on the charger. ( always let a battery cool before putting it back on the charger )

it is not warm, not bloated and when charged from 70% to 95% it takes around 20-25 mins i have not ran it till i hit lvc but the lowest i have ran it was to around 65% and i got around 20 mins of slightly hard bashing
Sounds to me that youre all good then. :) Keep an eye on it and have a blast. :D

I'd say check out that manual.. the light is prolly the smart chip booting up and saving parameters/ect.

Also you can turn off auto charge for the smart lipo's, it's in the menu.. it indeed does not discharge so when u run a lipo just make sure u run it under whatever parameters u set for storage charging.. you can also change the auto discharge feature for the lipo's, I think it's from like 10 or 12 hrs to 200+ hrs.. also u need to have the smart lipo's plugged in to see all the features.. hope this helps!! 😎
