Apologies if this isn't the best place to ask this, but I'm hitting and issue that has me stumped. Not hard to do since I'm new to the hobby, but figured I could get some input from the experts here.
The Spektrum battery is model SPMX-1090 that came with a Losi Micro-B. The first one worked for a few days then gave out on me. Plugging it into my S155 charger it looks like it's only reading one cell at 4.15 volts and not detecting the second.
I replaced it, and it worked for about a day before hitting the exact same issue. I can't actually figure out how to charge these with the S155, so I'm using the little USB charger SPMXC0030 that the Micro-B came with. I plug the new battery into the USB charger, it's orange indicating charging for a few minutes then goes solid green to indicate it's done charging. When I plug that into my S155 it detects both cells, but cell 1 is at 4.16V while cell 2 is at ~2.7V, and the second cell slowly drops by 0.01V every 5-8 seconds while I leave it plugged in. When I hook up the battery to the car and turn it on I'm able to steer the front wheels, but there's no reaction when I pull the throttle.
I've got another battery headed my way on warranty, but really trying to avoid this happening again, and it happened so quick the second time around I want to make sure there's nothing I'm doing wrong that could prevent this, or if there's anything I can do to salvage the batteries I have right now.
Thanks!!
