Still working it out, RPM front bumper has to go! Causing front end to lift an backflip the car at about 80mph.
So for now best run is 80 at about 1/2 throttle, have no dought it will break 100mph just have to keep it planted!
I'll post any progress as we work throug it.

The spool eliminates the center differential, makes it a direct drive from motor to front and rear differentials.
This is done when building a speed run car as my son and I are doing with his Typhon.
Along with the spool we are in the process of installing a 1/5th scale Momba monster XL ESC and KillMode Capacitor 4 pack .
We are running a 1 to 1 ratio on center spool. This is all done for speed runs and hope to break 100+ mph.

No this is strictly for on road speed runs

Can i buy spool somewhere? I mostly want it for more gearing options. I want higher gear ratio but i don't have skills or tools to make spool. Whats highest gear ratio that you can buy parts and bolt on it?

Im really not sure what ratio combos will work with spool were running 34 spur 34 pinion and that pretty much maxed out our spool, we did rum a 22 pinion and 46 spur once an that to was getting close to max?

Henridrivefast yea you can buy one prebuilt from a fellow on youtube that gose by the name Typhon he builds them for people.
Typhon and Phillip Jolley are the top guys for making a Arrma Typhon go fast!
Just look up any Arrma Typhon speed video on youtube an you will find there postings.

Momba Monster ESC mounting plate installed (made from type 2 titanium)
Momba Monster XL fitted an mounting holes drilled
Spool,motor, cooling fan, ESC, Cap pack all mocked into place.
Ready to solder up wiring an route the wiring.
Wing modified.
Getting close, hopefully test runs bythis coming Saturday.
Waiting on new set of wheels due in today.
