Talion Spool handling

Hi all,

Am considering getting a centre spool for my Talion. I'm currently running 1M in the centre diff, but there is still some play.

I do a lot of informal speed runs, but I also bash on grass and in the woods etc. I'm just wondering what negative effects the centre spool would have?

Back in the day I never used to have a centre diff, such as with the Traxxas Revo, HPI Savage etc. They seemed to handle ok?

The center spool will not do much different than the 1 mill fluid.
Typically people use the spool in order to get down to a smaller spur like the 29-38T range versus the 44-52 range for center diffs.

Off you’re bashing it’s probably a better idea to just throw a silicone earplug in there rather than use a spool. The 1mill will probably handle better and make it easier to take off straight on road.
