Good day,

Is there any sort of standard for the 4 holes where spur gears are screwed into a center diff case?

I found some interesting threads on quieting down the loud Typhon or Kraton drivetrains. This thread https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/plastic-spur.4231/ raised the alternative of plastic spur gears as a solution, but the confirmed compatible (with modification) Durango gear appears nowhere to be found. There are Mugen, Kyosho, and Associated Mod1 plastic spur gears, and this got me wondering if the four screw holes are in the same places as my Typhon or if everybody has a slightly different case with different attachment points.

Curious if folks know of any standard sizings here, or if I will have to order a bunch to test.

I am not sure but I would rather have a noise metal spur that a quieter plastic spur. I would be afraid of tearing it up on 6s.

My thoughts exactly....I like the noise, sounds TOUGH !!!!:jimlad: Haha

I'm curious, too - as my Typhon makes too much noise to drive while overwatching my 11 month old son sleep.

I also found the above spur gears and have no idea if they fit.

Cu
