Today, after 2 and half years in the hobby, I finally bought my first brand new rc! I have my crawlers. I have my speed run Senton. I have my trail/road Senton. And finally filled a void that desperately needed filling, a basher. I debated a Fireteam until I settled for the King of Bashers!
Looking forward to this new chapter in my RC experience!
What i cant get past though, is how huge it is next to my 1/8 Senton. Yet its body is tiny next to the Senton body...

Oh, you meant the Senton lol.
Those were the Fortress, I think. Currently I have GRPs for Speed running/road ripping

Thank you, I'll have to do some hunting! & congrats on the new Kraton6s, I just got a gently used one a couple weeks ago from a member here but haven't really even bashed it yet!
 
Funny story: a couple years ago I had my first encounter with a 6s Kraton. Head on at 63mph on my very first speed run. The Kratons owner became a good friend of mine. Earlier, when I told him I was going to buy a Kraton, he said I needed to upgrade from the "Spekrap". He knows I have 6&8s capable motors, but no esc since I fried my BLX185, other than the Max6 in my Senton. So he gave me this, never used, straight off his Xmaxx that he just put a Castle system in. View attachment 261290He even had IC5s put on it for me! Gotta be worth over 200 if never used. Came into this hobby looking for something to do with my son during Covid. Ended up staying just for the friends I've made here, on FB, and in person.
Ok, the last parts a lie. I'm staying because it hasn't gotten boring yet lol.

I had the opportunity to buy a used one on ebay but let it slip. I should have bought it.
