My kraton 6s exb has an issue with steering.
I thought it was the servo horn slipping.
But I have just had sometime to check, and discovered, I can turn the wheels, while holding the servo.
Is this the servo saver?
What is the best way to fix this?

Is the composite bellcrank two halves separating at the spring side when turning? The spring on the saver is loose, or is it the non adjustable type?

If its a problem, gonna assume its the v5 or earlier version. Replacing with the exb or v6 is a nice upgrade.

This is an option too. Use 1-2 14mm snap rings.

I have a exb v2.

Ok, so it needs tightening?
And maybe something under it so it doesn't loosen.
I might need to go buy a spanner that can fit in there.

There are two types of V5 & earlier. One with a adjustable sleeve, one without. The two composite plastic halves can bend, become distorted, & cause weak, sloppy, weird steering. The newest steering rack is different than both of what I have in my 6s rigs, & I've replaced all my stuff with aluminum bellcranks & HD adjustable servo savers. I went to big kv servos & they just overcome the plastic design. The servo keeps moving & the halves just separate, regardless of spring tension. In my case, aluminum fixed it all up.

If the 2 parts arnt coming apart, the servo saver isnt the issue. Take another look at it though. As they get worn, they loosen up over time.
I don't think the v2 exb saver can be tightened, just has a better spring and better construction. The red nut you see in the my photo isnt to tighten anything but to assemble the unit.

Servo saver on the kagama 4s is roughly the same as the kraton 6s.
I've replaced it, and it is now working great!
