Vorteks steering reversed and AVC unuseable after changing servo

Stock steering servo died on my vorteks BLX. I replaced it with this one from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076CNKQX4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details the DS3218MG after seeing some recommendations for it.
After replacing it the steering is reversed, easy, I switched that on the transmitter. But the AVC seems to be reversed too and steers INTO spin rather against it. It's a donut monster now which is fun I guess lol. Is there something I need to do to calibrate or reset the AVC?

You have to change the direction that the gyro corrects your wheels. It will tell you how in the manual under "gyro setup" or "AVC setup". Have to do this before you rebind and recalibrate.
