Duffel bags fit standard 8th scale buggies like a treat. Here’s a reinforced one I use:

Oooooooo. I like that! Would make the days I run at the grass bmx track a lot less irritating. I have to drag my bag 1/4 mile, then stand on my head to work on my trucks. That would raise the bag up so I'm not standing on my head and make pulling the bag so far not such a chore. I'll have to see if I can find one of those.
Yep, it's really handy, you can use it as a work station with a wooden plate on top.
And it's foldable:

Rather than start a new thread on the same subject I figured I would bump this one.

So long story short in July I plan on going to visit my family that has a very large open plot of land near a lake in North Dakota. I'm planning on bringing my Outcast 6s, Senton 3s, Arrma desert buggy, HPI Vorza, Ecx Ruckus, Ecx Torment, Monster Slash 4x4, Traxxas Summit and maybe my Vaterra Kalahari. If I still had my Tahoe I would just toss them in the back and head out, but as I now own a pickup I need something to keep them in. I was thinking maybe picking up a few of these things in various sizes https://www.lowes.com/pd/Style-Sele...bBo0rsw0RmZ3ENw5ChAaAqKEEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
But was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions for what to use. I don't really need to have them all in one container as I figured it would probably be easier to move them around if they were in more than 1.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

I use one of those hard shell car top carriers and strap it in the bed

Something like this. You can find um on yard sale pages for cheap most times

Oh those things that look like the old school big Mac containers?
I mostly store my RCs on their Car stands.

For transport, I use Robitronic Dirtbags. They aren't that pricey (like 15-20€), but they are comfortable and waterproof:

Not really what I was looking for but still a great idea for transporting from my bash spot back home.

That might actually work. I'll have to keep an eye out for one, I usually see them on Craigslist and Facebook from time to time as well.

You could just build a simple box out of plywood and dimensional lumber. Doesn't even need to be a box per-se, even just use dimensional lumber to build rails around a plywood base and tie a tarp over the top.

Those look really slick.

I'd look for a giant lockable wheeled bin. I see them at Home Depot and similar places. Something like-
https://www.homedepot.com/p/IRIS-17...-Storage-Bin-in-Black-2-Pack-296015/303084178

That one is a 2-pack. Put your RC's in one, and your clothes in the other, and then not worry about rain on the trip.
I do have a Truxedo tonnuea cover for the bed. But we don't have a Home Depot ? I'm sure I could find something similar from Lowes, Menards or maybe even Runnings.

Maybe not practical right now but this is what I use.

That is what I have on my F150. 9 years old now, still in good condition. I did have to re-glue the weather stripping at the tailgate.
I also reglued the weather stripping. I think the reason it failed sooner than I expected is because I didn't have the cover tightened down and it would slip back and forth. Once I got it tight and glued the rubber back, I'm good to go. It's suggested to not close the tailgate with it shut but I do.
The reason I chose that one was because I like the profile more than ones that draw more attention or have the roller at the rear window.
I don't love the way it rides when it's not fully closed but I rarely need to keep it open. I often have to pick up things (paper goods) in cardboard boxes and wanted protection from the rain so this fit for me.
Here's what I bought to reach my RC trucks when they migrate to the inaccessible front of the bed. Just used a threaded stick I had laying around from a worn floor scrubbing brush.

I have this one https://www.amazon.com/TruXedo-Roll-up-571801-Chevrolet-Silverado/dp/B00CGGXSVO?th=1

I'm looking more for something to keep them from moving around inside the bed.
I use a 2x4. See pic below. The F150 has some notches in the inner bed sides, that are sized for a 2x4. I cut the board to length, and cut a 1" chamfer on the bottom. This keeps everything from running to the front of the bed. I used to keep a boat-hood type pole in my truck, but with the 2x4, I don't need it anymore.

Cool post here....

Heck... I used the box mine came with. The Infraction came with a nice sturdy cardboard box and I keep the bottom only to transport and the Granite I kept the bottom cardboard box for it as well. Keep them both in the garage until I am ready to roll out. enough room in each for batteries, controller and accessories. I add a few towels in if I need to take up any slack for motion restriction.

Store them on shelves in the basement, transport in truck bed and currently looking into getting a wagon to bring multiple rigs into the woods at once. That way I don't have to carry any back if/when they break, something similar to the folding carts shown above
