Stupid question I know

I know this has been asked before but I can’t find anything. I know about the front and back diff shims but do I need to shim the center diff as well as in the shims outside the bearings. It wasn’t shimmed when I took it out but I was just double checking.thanks

If your center diff has any back and forth play in the mount adding some shims will certainly help.

Mine has one shim on the ring gear side.

Not every diff need shims, so don't see it as a must.
Only shim it when it has play as @slick2500 mentioned.
An overshimmed (too tight) diff won't last long.

Inside the diffs I use the mugen E0260 shim kit
Inside the diff housing I use Tekno TKR1222
One shim on the ring gear side like @Mongoose said.

Thanks I just shimmed the gear side and it’s lovely tight . Now and have to change the front bulkhead and she’s good as new sort of
