Talion STX2 long range radio delay

When my talion is about 200ft out there is a half of a second throttle delay. Is this a common issue?

The STX2 is know to have issues like that. Range issues, long delays (high latency), etc.

Change out that radio before something bad happens.

Does it do it everywhere? I have problems with one radio at a location where my other trucks run just fine...and everywhere else it runs like a champ.

It feels like the further out the more delay it has. It doesn't make sense because it's not like radio waves are the speed of sound, but it acts exactly that way.

I just bought a DX2E

Its a poor and cheap radio for an expensive and high performance RC car.
I had issues the first day I used it on the typhon. Lag and range issues.
It spoils your enjoyment. I chucked mine in the bin and replaced with a better radio like most of us do.
Honestly I've had RTR cars at half the price that have had a far superior radio included.
