You have an EXB setup and want to install the V5 open diff(s) in its place?
If so, start with an open v5 diff at the rear. Not the front. (y)
Hope I understood you well.

Did you get the Exb version from Jenny's?
If so then yes you can swap the entire case out for the new parts. Although what broke?
I have a K6 EXB and I want to put the regular v5 diff in

Not sure what broke ... never worked on a diff but some were saying maybe a sun gear or a pin broke off

Exactly! Thank you!

I think the front is ok

But Curious why start in the rear not front

Thanks

In general sense, the V5 diff in the rear gives some drivers the vehicle rotation they want when powering into corners. The EXB diff in the front has more available locking action to pull the vehicle around corners under power. Better to leave the EXB diff up front, taken at face value. That's a consensus opinion. Tailoring to your own vehicle, conditions, and driving style is the best way to go about it, regardless of what the other kids are doing.

Only because an open diff will benefit best at the rear. Drive ability wise. And you have a LSD at the front. Lsd at rear with open at front will make steering un manageable.

Thanks guys

Didn’t know any of that
Thanks!
