Does anyone have any experience of these roll cages from T-Bone? I'm wondering if a) it would be a good solution to protect my new body from cracking down the middle and b) if it might provide a frame to add a Go-Pro to?

If the roll cage attaches to the body then I can't imagine it will be strong enough. Surely all the forces would just be transferred to the body anway. To work it would have to attach the chassis.

Has anyone tried them? Any other great ideas for protecting the body from rolls or solutions for adding a Go-Pro?

They're pretty good. I have one on my Xmaxx (I know this is an Arrma forum. I have a Typhon, that's why I'm on here). It actually helps to keep the body from cracking. My X maxx has taken some nasty rollovers and the body came out fine. I also know some guys that line the inside of their bodies with fiberglass tape at the mounting points. I haven't tried that so I can't vouch for it, but they say it helps. I'd give the cage a shot.

Thanks for that. How are does the fitting work under the body? Is it just a screw or a reinforcing plate?

I had one on a Rustler 4x4 it definitely can protect the body. It kept it in great shape. I took it off as I had some issues of it pulling threads on the mounting system and honestly I just don’t like the look of it as dumb as that may be lol

It screws into the roll cage that's mounted under the body.

I'm sure you can find some washers that'll work for yours. You can glue them on the underside of your body.
