OK guys, what temp range is too hot (damage causing hot) for the 6S BLX system???? I'm running stock 13T pinion with Backflips and on a 85 degree day running kinda hard in the yard and on the street for about 10-12 minutes I'm hitting motor temps of 174-182 degrees. How bad is that???

So from what I have read, That's a bit on the warm side. My Talion was running up around 200. Put a couple Yeah Racing fans on it, and that took care of the problem right away. I don't think that 175 is in the dangerous range, but it's warm.

Depending on who you ask, safe max motor temps are somewhere around 170f-180f. Some motor specs say max temp 200f. So if you are running 175f-185f, you are (IMHO) right at the limit of safe temps. Motor fans may be a good idea. Also, The Outcast comes with a 12t pinion so seeing as you are running outcast tires, you may try that gear too.
