So I got sick of cleaning out my rear dogbones on my Talion of grass, weeds and mud and decided I would do something about it. I don't remember where i read about it but I found that you can take the De racing mudguards for the Associated RC8T and install them on the Talion. So I decided to do just that.

De Racing Mudguards

I'll try and upload some pictures of the install later.

And here are the pictures of the finished Install. Don't mind the dirt I might have been driving it in the rain the other day.

yeah i have a set of the durango's as well that i was going to fal back on if i couldn't get the DE's to work. I'm gonna run a pair of batteries through the rig tonight to see how the DE's hold up.

I ended but making my own out of some scrap plastic I had, those look a whole lot better. Might be something worth replacing mine with.

I take it these mud guards would work on the Kraton? What's the install like? I don't see any screws that come with the packaging.

They come with clips and screws for clipping to the lower arm. I drilled a hole added a screw in the middle because the clips seemed a bit flimsy.

I felt like they were flimsy also. but so far they have held up, no problems with mine yet.

These are getting delivered as i type this. I bought the set without the diff protector to see how they run. If all goes well i plan on buying the diff protector as well.
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/332191166343

They're on! Must say I'm impressed. Didnt think they would be thick enough. Fitment is dead on. Ordering the diff guard.

Kyzane, thanks for the post I just recently have my talion delivered. Now I can order my mud flaps and work on it before my trip this June. A little busy at work and I can only learn from this forum so most applications will be sooner. Question , do you know any mud guard fitment that I can get or any site I can look for my son's granite mega? I made my own through a set of used gift cards, it works for a while but it gets cracked after a few runs. Any suggestion is much appreciated . Thanks!

I fitted the DE Racing guards and while I like the look, the fitment (2x clips that fit onto the rear A-Arms) left a lot to be desired - If you tighten them down, so that they fit snugly, they deform.

It's not a big deal but you have to measure and drill holes into them to allow you to use the sway bar bolts and A-Arm blank holes to secure them to the arms.

Sensible mod, IME - Great heads up @Kyzane.
