I've had an XLWB Talion for about a year and a half. It was converted from a Fireteam and had an M2C chassis & chassis braces.
Finally decided I've never run a regular Talion and its time to try that out. Swapped everything to an ADU Racing chassis, running a Max6/4292 Hobbystar motor on Backflip MT tires.
Ran 2 packs of 6s today and gotta say I like it even more now. With the XLWB it had a little more straight line stability but I barely noticed the difference. With the stock length chassis it turns better, quiet a bit more nimble.

Still my favorite basher overall, XLWB or stock length. 😎

I like both versions as well though I lean more toward the TalionXL. I will say though that personally I think your talion XL was a bit underpowered with that motor, it makes sense to me that you like the talion more with that setup.

4082 felt underpowered, 4092 was just right to me. Also the 4092 is a good match with the batteries I use to give good left/right weight balance.
