Team Durango Discontinued

Just an FYI if anybody was thinking of getting any Durango parts for their rigs that they might want to do it quickly.

Thought that was on the cards for a while. Seem to recall reading something from one of the TD designers that 95% of the TD team have been working on Arrma stuff for 95% of the time and that TD design/ development had slowed to a trickle and was just 'maintenance' work.

Silver lining is that hopefully this shore's up Arrma and will give us continued support on existing models and getting new models into the marketplace? Here's hoping...

It is the other way around: team Durango people have worked on the Arrma's under Hobbico's flag!
Do not forget some TD 1/8 scale parts fit the Arrma vehicles, and that is no coincidence.

Rumor goes it is due to the law-suits from Traxxas against Hobbico. Among other the Nero's front suspention is part of it (similarities with the e-revo)

Maybe somebody can confirm or deny this?

If this is the case, I could be bad news for Arrma as well.

But the possibility that TD got out of business is due to the lack of sales is also plausible.
They focussed mainly on the race scene, which is having a hard time still due to lack of the hobbyists interest in it.
