Hey guys, I finished up this build about a month ago.. still trying to dial it in. I got rid of the Fireteam body and went with a lighter HPI Savage XL truck buddy and it feels so much better in the air. It's a work in progress and will keep updating the changes it goes through. Thank you Just Bash it, M2C, Custom RC Upgrade, Basherqueen and Vitavon for the amazing quality parts!

Where did you get the chassis side’s from? I’m completely green at all of this stuff since I haven’t built anything since the 80’s thanks

Did you have any fitment issues with the Vitavon stuff? It all looked really good, but each part I inspected had an issue. The holes on the diff carrier were too narrow in 2 locations, and the steering column sat up too high. Which caused it to rub on the top plate, making steering not very smooth at all.

I’ve seen people use their stuff in other builds with good success. Just curious if I’m the only one with issues.

Checking out your photos, it looks like yours has the same issue too. The column sticks up above the posts.

Just gotta shim it a bit. Had the same issue with my t6s. I find myself shimming a lot of things, but almost always to take up slop on something that's functioning. In this case you're shimming something in the opposite direction because it doesn't function properly because it's too tight. Pays to have a variety of shims of different od's, id's, and thicknesses for exactly these situations. Gotta say it was a bit disappointing to have something that wouldn't work at all without shims for the price and wait involved with vitavon. I expect to have issues with cheap Chinese crap, especially when it's mating to more cheap chinese crap. Vitavon may be Chinese but it certainly isn't cheap.
