Temperature Rating on Lipo Batteries

I was browsing for 3s batteries and noticed they are available in different temperature ratings. My 2s battery is rated at 50c.
I got questions:
Is this a max internal temperature rating?
Will the 3s battery get hotter than my 2s?

That's not a temperature rating.

When you can solder with them, they're too hot.

C ratings are a very controversial subject.

TLDR They are just made up numbers used for marketing purposes. In real world testing they are never anywhere near what is advertised.
