My boys bday is fast approaching. Decided to pimp out his Senton. Got the wheels in and couldn’t resist a test fit. Guess I’ll do a build thread even though it’s not really a build, just slapping parts on it.

2.8 lp trenchers. Looks like minimum trimming to fit. I added some stock tires in for comparison.

I'm sure he'll love it. Trenchers have people that like em and people that don't but I like the ones I ran on my SCT and as far as aesthetics go, they're as cool and tough looking as any.

@crimsonfancy thanks man. That’s good to know. We run 50% street and 50% grass and dirt so we’ll see. Either way, they have to be better than stock, we shred those every 2 packs.

@Jasonkw yes I went with the 14mm hexes. They have 19mm of offset which pushes them out pretty far. I ordered the slimmer ones with 9mm offset as well but have yet to receive. Not sure yet which I’ll use.

That is interesting, I didn't know they had a lower offset. This claims 9mm is compatible with the senton 3S, but not the granite.

I don't see why the granite would be different. I don't get how they measure offset. Maybe it's not consistent with manufacturers. Duratrax lists wheels compatible with arrma as 1/2 inch offset.

@Jasonkw I wonder if it has to do with body rub? I doubt it though as the tire size would determine that not the rim. They have sc 2.8 rims with the removable hexes. Maybe that is what they are referencing? I’m getting the others adapters as well. I’ll post a comparison. I happen to have a granite so I can test there too with the 19mm adapters vs the 9mm.

The 9mm offset adapters came in today. I don’t see them working out. The rim will rub the steering turnbuckle mount on the c hub.
