Which size have you used? Is one piece strong and tight enough to hold a fan?
40,42,49,56mm. Yes, one mount alone would hold your fan tight,,,,,I’ve tried it……but I run with both mounts. These thing are legit.
HW 56113 motor fan mount.

It’s important to mount the fan first, then push the entire assembly over the motor. It takes some force to clamp it over the motor but once it’s on, it ain’t going anywhere.

Hey Arrma nation.
Another thread prompted me start this one.

Your fan mount search ends here. These are the best mounts you will ever find……period.
7075, clips on like a snap ring, ain’t coming off.

Can you slide the motor through the mounts instead of forcing them through the top? Doesn't sound right pushing them from top.all my mounts have allways been slide ins.🤔

Maybe on a motor without cooling fins…….maybe. I’ve had no issues with just snapping the whole assembly over the motor.. maybe @Notorious J can pipe in here because I know he runs a few of these.
Those look legit indeed 👍. But no international shipping?🤦‍♂️
Says worldwide on the website……..did you try to order something and get turned down?

No you cannot. Push from the top. As @KevinC stated. They work like snap rings. Force them down and they hold through very extreme bashing and jumping

Would I have to spend $46 to replace my double mounts? More importantly would they prevent 40 x 40 x 28 mm fans from slipping down the side on big landings? It would be worth $ if they really hold.

I’m not sure about you first question because I don’t know what mounts you’re talking about.
The second question…….these mounts will by no means “migrate” downward under extreme landings, ever. I have a few that are side mounted, so the fan is at the 3 o’clock position (which is the worst case scenario) and these things will not move.

I’ll say again……these mounts are the pinnacle of fan mounts……I’m surprised M2C or another company isn’t making them.

Fan mounts have always been a struggle for me since I started the hobby, always looking for the next best thing…..something that doesn’t move, get loose, fall off, etc.

I tried the powerhobby clamp mounts and they were ok, but not great…..schit metal, set screws involved, etc.
The KCRC mounts are 7075, require no screws for attaching……theyre flawless.

Another thing I just thought of King……if a mount has the ability to slide over a motor can from the end, there’s no way it will remain tight on the the motor……forcing it over from the top is not a problem at all with these mounts.
Another poster asked if one mount would be sufficient……I say yes. So if you choose to use only one mount, push it over the motor then mount your fan. If you choose to use both mounts, mount the fan first then push the whole assembly over the motor.

The heck with fans… I need one of these from them! Sweet!

I've got the 48" one and I love. Almost flat to transport and has taken a beating from my Noto 6s without pause. Only thing I'll warn you about, is if your out bashing on really hot days, the black support arms might twist out of shape a bit. I just warm them up when I get home and let them straighten themselves back out.
