I admit that I hate on Traxxas.
1: I don't like that they are so protective of designs that, imo should be universal.
2: I hate on them like I hated on the Patriots when Brady was playing....they were too good and not my team.

1. Yes I completely agree they should be universal and others should be allowed to use those designs but as a company they have every right to protect their designs, just like GM, Ford, Dodge, Apple, Samsung, nVidia, Intel or any other company does.
2. I thought everyone hated the Patriots

Lol there was no real reason for this thread to ever be created. OP came to a forum specifically for enthusiasts of a hobby to complain about the prices associated with said hobby. People buy what they like and/or can afford. People Don't buy what they don't like and/or can't afford. Its pretty cut and dry.

I'm not fanboying them I'm just getting sick of the little children crying all the damn time. I enjoy the Traxxas models I have they work well for their intended purpose aside from the Bandit I don't really like the way it drives. If no one buys it soon I'm just gonna make another Rustler.

The $350 price might have been subsidized by the carrier? My $1,000 reference is walking into the Apple store and paying cash.

Wrong. I paid $350 as the listed price for an unlocked samsung A54 5G phone on amazon last year. I use tello, so I pay $8 per month as my phone plan.

This is the way to go. I started doing this too some years back. Just buy the unlocked phone outright from either Amazon or Ebay. I won't get suckered into having a "monthly phone payment" ever again. Been on the same unlocked Samsung A51 5G for 4 years now.

Done with this thread. Buy what you want. Said and done for me. No $, no problem. No rig. . oh well. . This thread was about what now? Some guy in Italy crying about the cost of living. But just for his hobby wants. Move to China, no shipping.

I haven't been here long, so this is the first somewhat off the rails thread ive seen since joining. Opinions are just what they are....state them and move on.
I say take the next step and close this thread before anymore tomatoes are thrown about.

Here is the problem, with my adhd or autism or whstever I have, I will be hyperfocused on it and once I have it, I will still love it and be into it, just not have enough time for it.
