I just looked up on purchases in eBay and the surpass is 2845 4400kv, I measured it by eyeballing them up with a ruler and the surpass looks to be around 4mm longer then the spectrum, without taking it out I can't get exact but it's definitely longer, and I thought the spectrum was 4500kv, I did run Typhon again on 3s and definitely still has some cogging off start when you hit it fast but once you get past it then pours on hard and then it will flip if you don't let off a little. I'm not getting any cogging with the surpass, power right there off the start. But the all metal diffs are 50.00, then you get bunch of other stuff like aluminum shocks, 40.00, metal out drive cups, adjustable tie rod, aluminum hex, let's say 30.00, so that's 120.00 without brushless system and car is 189.00:so I'm not expecting it to be as good as a stand alone system. I'll drop the gearing since I got bigger tires and should probably do that anyways, they gear them for the tires they put on but if you just to keep it moving a little then cogging is is not an issue and top end will definitely get your attention, hope the weather holds out so I can host it the way to it sits, thinking maybe around 60mph left the way it is.
