Arrma RC's
  1. Mojave
  2. Senton 6s
  3. Senton 3s
  4. Talion
What’s up everyone, SCT’s are my favorite kind of R/C trucks. Sentons fit the bill perfectly. My first Senton is a Mega that I converted to a 3s BLX. My second is a factory 3s BLX that I converted to a 4s BLX. Lastly are my 6s Sentons. I now have three 6s trucks. One is a Driver truck. It’s stock plus. The second is a roller that will be built to thrash hard. The last one is a, brand new, in the box (factory sealed) shelf queen. I’ll probably never open it. Pictures and individual photos for their respective trucks to follow.

Here are some teasers.
The shelf queen

Wow wow!! Hell of a stash you have there.

Looks like tons of fun, there great, trucks with some very nice amount of power. I love mine too

Ok, so here goes nothing. My first Arrma and first R/C since I was 13, Senton Mega. Bought it used on eBay. It was all stock with the exception of the front shocks. Those were from a Slash. I went through two Mega550 motors before doing any upgrades.
My second Arrma is my Senton BLX. I kept eyeballing one at my local HS when I would go repair my Mega. So, as I enjoyed both trucks and breaking stuff became the norm, upgrading the 3s and hand me downs to the Mega also became the norm. First came the eBay big bore shocks. Next was a pair of 4s slipper assemblies and adjustable motor mounts. I did Kraton braces in both. Then I cracked both frames.
The 3s truck got a new chassis, sealed bearings and Savöx servo for both trucks. The 3s truck became a monster Senton with some 2.8 Badlands. I transferred the 3s ESC and motor into the Mega and got a 4s ESC and motor for the BLX.

Next was a pair of 4s slipper assemblies and adjustable motor mounts. I did Kraton braces in both. Then I cracked both frames.
So the 4S slipper assembly is compatible with the 3S Senton BLX?

I just got a used Senton and was going to rebuild the diffs and slipper assemblies and a few other things in this post. Maybe I should just opt for the 4S slipper of the bat.

Time for an update here

Frankenstein 3s is now sporting 6s shocks, Street-fighters 2.8 lp’s and a 21t pinion. On dirt I’m running 6s DBoot sidewinders, either 2 or 3s. Top speed clocked was 56.4 mph. Still running the Mega front diff.

The 4s truck got a set of Typhon 17mm hexes, Hoons, RPM arms, GPM steering links and a 24t pinion. Also added a 35Kg Amazon servo. Im running Duratrax six packs on dirt with 3s power. Have not clocked speed yet. Hoping for 60’s

V3 6s is running rear Felony hoons square setup, power hobby dual fans, Savöx servo and a 19t pinion. Running Proline SC trenchers for the dirt on 4s. Have not clocked speed, but hoping high 60’s maybe low 70’s.

Mines was a roller. But I love it all the same.

Had a little mishap a few days ago. I’ve got a number of HR parts coming in and also a new rear diff assembly. Gonna finish installing the Jim’s bearing kit and redoing all diff oil’s. 20k front, 500k center and 30k rear.
