So the m2c towers arrived today and I will update on that in my build thread. However, the rear shock tower I took off is... well... a little more round than it ought be!

True that, but I have replaced with m2c... had them on order for a while

Yep - was on it when I bought it, but the m2c ones are a clear upgrade!

Save it and use as a boomerang. Pitch looks spot on.
