Think the ESC is fried. I said that before. See if they will stand by their product . Bet they will. 🔥. 👀.

I didnt see anyone recommend recalibrating the throttle/brake endpoints....unless i just missed it. I did in fact skim the thread but didnt read it word for word. :P

The same happened to me a few weeks ago and tried plugging esc into steering port and with controller not even in my hand the monster truck went wide open after 10 seconds and of course people outside so had to grab it so it wouldn't hurt anyone and I've been playing with rc for 30 years and never had anything like this happen. Basically it blew up 3 tires on me which didn't feel to good, so I would suggest you take tires off or pinion gear. All I needed to do was re calibrate the esc which was a max5 g2 on 8s and it was working fine before. I've never had it happen with any hobbywing esc before and definitely not a castle so I would do what Felony Prime suggest and do it right and will probably work.
 
when my green light was flashing I couldn't get into the programming mode so couldn't do anything with the ESCS at all as soon as I turned it on it would just flash green slowly from what I remember I still had steering this has happened a few times to me the ESCS had a lot of use though

This is what happens with mine I tired to but I don’t think it is actually programming anything w the esc and the light flashes green and I have steering

Do you think they will stand by their product even if the rc car is bought second hand like I am not the original owner hope they will still stand by it tho

I would say its a new ESC :( if you have checked everything else out. if it was anything to do with your motor wires it would make a clicking sound when trying to accelerate.
 
Only one way to find out. Don't need to tell them all that. Not everyone registeres their cars. Good luck bro. Many folks buy a rig only to run them after the snow is gone. 🔥 . I did not buy my Felony from them. They made it right.

don't think so I have never got anything on warranty think you would need the receipt. try ebay or jennys rc if your in the USA it will be almost half the price

Ok when I get home I will look closely over everything all connections and I guess I will look around for a new esc as a last resort and the fan does still spin on the esc

Well yeah it looks like it’s going to be an esc I cannot find anything wrong at all with anything else no bent pins on the rx no visible broken wires so I’m leaning a lot wards burnt out esc does anyone know of anyway to make sure it’s not the motor befor I full commit on an esc

I just went to the website of the esc makers and this is the page I get when I open the esc I have it says discontinued?

your motor would not stop your ESC from reprograming take the motor out and check it make sure the pinion spins freely and your connectors are still soldered. you will have to get the new black firma 150a ESC now if thats what you want
