I built a second talion out of spare parts and left it stock without any real idea of what to do with it. Well i finally decided to go lightweight and fast to see what i can do. I have the basherqueen towers/front plate/ackerman bar/steering bits/tower to tower brace to put on and the m2c lightened chassis. I also snagged some used CRCU hinge pin blocks from a friend to put on, and have a max6/hobbystar 4092 1730kv motor to pop in geared 26/46 to start. I'll send the shock bodies, motor mount, center braces (bought some voltage hobbies ones since they were on sale and looked a little lighter than the beefcake m2c/jbi sets and this is already on the speed chassis so any bad hit might not fare well for it anyways), servo mount, and hubs to get anodized black. I weighed the talion stock with hot racing hinge pin blocks as a starting point to see what happens. I'm going to guess the max6/4092 will negate any weight savings but it will still be a lot lighter than my m2c'd out talion. I may take weights as i go between the lighter parts when i start putting it together if anyone is interested to see what it looks like weight wise between the stuff i upgrade.
