I received my tire and wheel order, now it's glue time.
Except when I assemble the foam into the tire, then mount on the rim, the foam pushes out so much the tires distort.
I'm familiar that the white foam is the soft variety and bashers do better with gray/firm foam.
Am I supposed to trim the width of the foam, bit by bit until the distortion when assembled goes away?
Or just stuff it and let the soft foam just work in?
Thanks!

Yes, I'd trim the foam to match the profile of the tires.

I'll trim to the outside width of tire, which would allow for some stuffing-pressure so the tire profile doesn't become concave.
I believe the white foam is the softest.
