I recently upgraded my son's wheels and tires to the Proline Badlands MX28. Should I have changed the pinion gear?

I don't have the numbers in front of me but I don't think they are much taller or shorter than the stock tires. If that's the case, then no. No need to change gearing. If they are markedly taller then you could gear down. If shorter, gear up. But I think you are fine ???I recently upgraded my son's wheels and tires to the Proline Badlands MX28.
