Tires and wheels for Typhon 3S: tell me what I need to know

Picked up my first RC car two weeks ago and having a blast. It's a Typhon 3s, all stock right now, but looking for a few sets of tires and wheels. Could someone tell me what I need to know before ordering these. E.g. how do I ensure they'll fit properly on the buggy before buying? I assume there are multiple systems for mounting them wheels to axles, and that they aren't all compatible. Anything else really critical I should consider?

I'd welcome any recommendations for tires for the following scenarios:
(i) Street (slicks)
(ii) Dirt
(iii) Rough gravel/rocks
(iv) Grass
(v) General purpose

I like the duratrax lockups and triggers.. I prefer the lockups on the black spoked rims though..

think I'm gonna opt for solid rims probably if possible. I'm already getting tired of getting rocks and dirt stuck in the rims
