Granite Tires for my granite

The arrma granite 4x4 is my first rc and I am having a hard time figuring out what wheels and tires are compatible with it other than the stock ones. What kind has everyone else been able to use on it?

Go to Horizon Hobby . com and search Speedtreads. They have several with the required 14mm hexes

Is it possible to use some kind of adaptor to use 17mm hexes?

Maybe .... but most people want to move down to 12mm hexes. Tire choices for 1/10 trucks abound in that size

I moved up to 17mm so I could put 1/8 truggy tires on it and race. Personal preference

But I have the proline badlands tires on it now to screw off with. Amazing hookup but not such a great race tire. I used boiling water to get the old tires off the current rims and glued on my on badlands tires.

I converted to 17mm as well for tire selection and a better clamping since the axels seem to not like getting those wheel nuts tourqed down and not snap off.
