What's your favorite tire for the Typhon 6s?
I want a good set for street and a good set for general off road bashing.
Yes, I do search, my OCD likes to ask questions too.

A loaded question there. Never stated your objective.
Speed running on the street???? Or just bashing around on the street.
Off road? , what terrain are you running in. Grass, dirt, a mix. mud etc.
There are so many tires to choose from.
Speed running on street , get Belted Hoons 42/100's. Bashing on street and dirt/ grass get PL MX Buggy wheels. All around tires. Just Not best for one specific terrain however.
Hard pack dirt, get Buggy pins, any brand.
Much is trial and error if you are not sure.
Whatever you get, I would stay with 1/8 Buggy sized wheels/tires.

Thanks guys, apologies for the loaded/non informative question.
Street, general parking lot running around. Some street bashing, nothing specific.
Off road.. Grass, dirt gravel.. Again nothing specific.
For each I want a tire that will last a while.
Last weekend, yeah my first weekend with my Typhon I went through six stock tires. Mix of off road and street. Yeah I know, stockers are definitely not for street.
This weekend I'm doing some diff tuning, changing the oils and try to tame the torque, at least try to even it up.
my typhon which is strictly speed 98% of the time I run grp tires s3-s7 only now that I’m 8s

I have a used set of proline Mx
And set of proline avengers damn near new both sets $60 shipped

Yeah the stocker RTR Typhon tires burn out fast. Even on dirt. On the street or pavement, they are toast real quick. Best to keep them for the street only at that point. Like stated above, Belted GRPs are also a better option than Hoons for real speeds. And cheaper. Just need to gear up. I also have 53/107 Hoons "whites" (Felony rear tires) for the street. Very close to Buggy sized diameter. But not my favorite traction wise however.

I've been really enjoying the mojave tires on my typhon tlr but you need to truggifiy it with kraton hubs etc. I've even been enjoying them on road and the air control is nice.

Pm if you want them I haven’t posted them yet

Wanted to update my tire thread. I ended up buying some tires. I got a set of dBoots Hoons silver for street. Silver is a mid grade compound between traction and wear.
I got a set of Proline Badlands for off road/bashing.
Haven't run either yet but I think I'm gonna like them.
I also tuned my center diff with some 500k diff oil.
Today I'm doing my front diff with 20k oil, and doing my rear diff with 60k oil.
Hope to tame the torque for better traction.
